GLBAS BOARD

Melissa is the President and CEO of DenteMax - a national dental PPO company.
She and her husband Harry have three children- Daniel, Hunter and Arden along with one grandson, Holden.
Pet family members include three dogs and three cats.

Nicole works for a national home health, hospice and personal care company as a Strategic Account manager.
She has four cats, three of whom moved with her from California: Dodo, Beau and Luke, and Wendy.
In her spare time she likes gardening, exercising, watching her alma mater U of M football games and taking vacations with her mom or boyfriend.

Amanda was recently appointed Secretary of the GLBAS Board of Directors. In addition to her board role, she serves as our Dog Coordinator, overseeing the foster program and supporting dogs on their journey to finding permanent homes. Her dedication and passion for animal rescue has made a meaningful impact on the animals and people we serve.

Roy retired at the end of 2023 as a Senior Process Automation Manager at The Dow Chemical Company.
He is married to Katheryn and has one daughter, Emma. All three have been involved with the Great Lakes Bay Animal Society since 2015.

Roy has been a Midland resident since 1995. Before that he and Katheryn were in Sarnia, Ontario, with their cats Sophie and Polly, who were also rescues.
Roy is also a retired Motorcycle Safety Instructor, and still avidly rides.
