COMMUNITY PARTNERS

Pet Supplies Plus in Saginaw has been a valued partner and dedicated supporter of Great Lakes Bay Animal Society for many years. Their generosity and commitment to animal welfare have helped countless cats and kittens find loving homes.

The store provides space for two GLBAS "Kitty Condos" near the birds and fish department, giving our adoptable cats and kittens a comfortable place to meet potential families.  

The Pet Supplies Plus team goes above and beyond to advocate for our cats and kittens, helping them connect with potential adopters while providing plenty of affection and attention whenever they can.

Throughout the year, Pet Supplies Plus hosts and supports numerous fundraising and donation drives for GLBAS, including Kitten Showers, Holiday Giving campaigns, pet food drives, and other community initiatives. They are also always willing to open their doors for adoption meet-and-greets, bottle and can drives, and special events that help raise awareness and support for our mission.

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Pet Supplies Plus and for the compassionate staff who consistently support our rescue efforts. Their kindness, enthusiasm, and dedication make a meaningful difference in the lives of the animals we serve.

Great Lakes Bay Animal Society is proud to be a member of the Bissell Pet Foundation "Partners for Pets" program. The program is designed to support shelters, rescue groups and spay/neuter organizations that are helping to reduce pet overpopulation across the United States.  Being a member qualifies GLBAS to be eligible for grant funding opportunities to continue to support our mission of saving more neglected and unwanted animals.
